Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

On Christmas Eve Santa ("HoHo") stopped by my house before I went to sleep and I heard him and his reindeer on the roof. He did not bring my presents in then because I was awake but he dropped a bell off his sleigh and said that he would be back when I was asleep so I turned to my mommy and said, "I'm getting tired." I did not want to sit on Santa's lap this year and tell him what I wanted for Christmas (I did give him hi-five) but somehow he knew and Christmas morning I woke up to find "purple presents" and a "pink one too".

I had a great Christmas. I really enjoyed singing "Santa Clause is coming to town" and "Jingle Bells", eating coctail weiners, playing with my friends/family and watching "The Polar Express". I went to the movies for the first time and saw "Alvin and the Chipmunks".

I stayed up and played with Lacey until mid-night to ring in the New Year. It was not very hard for me because I am a night owl anyway.

In the picture I am jumping on the trampoline that "Santa made for me".

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Louisville zoo today to see all the animals. I saw a baby elephant, lions, tigers, monkeys, snakes, turtles, birds, fish, alligators, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, hippos, etc. I had alot of fun...I even saw happy feet.

Mommy had to ride a lot of rides with me. We rode the Horsies, piggies, bubble bees, duckies, Elephants, cho cho train and lots of other stuff. I liked running thru the water and playing on the playgrounds with daddy.

I went to Abingdon to visit Nannie and Papaw. Toby had his 1st birthday party there. Kiera, Chloe, Taylor and Toby were there too. We had cake, played games and swam in Nannie's pool. It was lots of fun.

Memorial Weekend I went with Mommy, Daddy and Bailey to see Nana and Grandfather. Nana and Grandfather took me and Kiera to see Sesame Street Live. Ernie and Bert scared me at first but after Elmo and Zoe came out I got excited and danced. I ate cotton candy for the first time...it was really good! It was really fun.

19 Months Old

I am 19 months old now and trying to adjust to a new schedule because Mommy accepted a new position at the hospital which allows her to work the same hours as Daddy...(Mon-Fri 9-5). I have to go to bed and get up much earlier now and go to the babysitters more but I am glad to spend more time with both Mommy and Daddy in the evenings and on the weekends!

18 month Check-up

I went to the doctor today for my 18 month check up. I weighed in at 24 pounds (30th percentile) and was 31 1/2 inches tall (30th percentile). The doctor said that I looked great. I only had to get one shot...the 2nd dose of the flu vaccine. I cried for a minute but stopped when mommy told me she would take me to look at the fish...I love animals.

I have already received alot of Valentines Day cards and gifts including a new doll, farm stuff, an elmo movie and money....it almost seems like Christmas again!

18 Months Old!

Look at some of my achievements at 18 months old...

I can feed myself using a fork and spoon. Bailey loves this milestone because he can enjoy more treats when I drop food on the floor. I have become more verbal in telling what I want and have become much more picky especially when it comes to fruits and veggies. I only like peas, corn, applesauce and bananas. Some of my favorite foods are lazagna, chicken nuggets, french fries, cereal bars, cheese, goldfish, fruit gummies, yogurt. Oh yeah and I love to dip my food in sauce.

Not only do I make a mess in the kitchen but I love to get all my toys out and play with them. I still love playing with a varity of toys however Daddy said that when he picks me up from the babysitters I am always playing with cars and GI Joe figures (his little Tom Boy). Daddy is also encouraging me to play ball and has taught me to raise my arms when he says TOUCH DOWN KY!

I am still a big climber...mommy and daddy have to watch me all the time. I love to stand on my table and I can now climb up and down our stairs like a big girl!

I am talking alot more now and like to talk to family on the phone. I will try to say about anything you tell me and most of the time you can understand me.

I have not had a chance to write because the holidays have kept me very busy with all the gift opening, traveling and playing with my new toys and my cousins. Even though I have been busy and have had a small cold....I HAD A GREAT CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR!

Santa Claus brought me my 1st Cabbage Patch kid, The Fox and the Hound 2 DVD, puzzles, A Dora Ball Game, toy box and lots of stuff in my stocking. I also got TMX Elmo, Happy Feet, Tiger, My Little Pony, Table and Chairs, TJ Bearytales, clothes, money, savings bonds, shoes, farm, Dora castle, cellphone, baby dolls, blocks, movies and many more things.
